Yes, He Was On Medication

Not only did the student who shot up a classroom yesterday at Northern Illinois University commit suicide at the end — proving my perennial point — he was also on psychotropic drugs.

And the debate in most comments forums at the moment is about gun control, a “culture of violence,” a “culture of fear,” media overexposure, and obscure karmic revenge for American wars on Muslims.

  1. Only in Chicagoland would they be happy to give you pictures of his arsenal of the evil legal guns, but they refuse to say exactly what psychotryptic drug(s) he had quit taking.

    Made it a complete non story about the the drug issue. I was even watching WGN local news today and they pretty much just focused on how easy it was for him to get guns, not that he had been using drugs and quit using them.
