  3. Big congrats, Mike! Those of us who’ve had the pleasure of following your progress have some sense of what an accomplishment this has been. So many trips to far-flung tropical destinations; sun and surf in the middle of hard Berlin winters; nah, we know that’s not the whole story. Repeatedly being turned back by hardened Israeli border guards, not to mention the nearly catastrophic hard-drive failure in mid-2008: we know how you suffered. As for me, I won’t be advance ordering anything. I look forward to buying it straight from the author’s hand during a trip to Berlin in early summer.
