The Dreaded Los Angeles Wall

A real section of the Berlin Wall is standing on some grass in LA, near the La Brea Tar Pits, and on Sunday Wilshire Boulevard will be blocked for a ceremony to raise a (symbolic, phony) wall across all lanes of traffic and then (symbolically) tear it down. This gentleman is posing with a portrait of Chairman Mao, probably as a protest against some remaining Communist regime.
