I knew she was cool when someone asked if she worried about Obama being assassinated, and she said, “He’s black, he could get shot at the gas station.”
But anyway, I’m interested that Obama hasn’t been accused of “pimping” his wife out, as Hilary was by having her daughter appear once beside her.
I do actually. You mean my thing for Ms. Heinz Kerry (scroll down), which was so, so wrong when I wrote that post in 2004.
Not even a Republican (never mind a retarded TV journalist) would be caught saying Obama has “pimped out” his wife — which is one reason he may do well in a general election.
Nothing wrong with being attracted to strong, opinionated women, particularly with interesting non-majority backgrounds. THK was interesting, certainly far more than her husbands, I thought (way, way back I grew up in Pennsylvania). I recall Michael Moore’s paeans to Hillary back in one of his earlier books; it was a little beyond me at the time, but, hey, women go for powerful men all the time; why shouldn’t the reverse work! Thanks, Mike, for the M. Obama clip b/c I’d never heard her speak and it was a pleasure. And some day we’ll be able to have a woman president who’s not just a “wife”. But it won’t be in my lifetime.
I just mean it was wrong on the Internet. Opinion about Teresa ranged widely but I don’t think anyone ever said she was “hot.”
Don’t speak too soon about a woman president in your lifetime; McCain may choose Condoleezza Rice for VP. If you’re right that he’s bound to be our next president, Condi might be a heartbeat away…
Possibly America should skip all this “are you racist if you don’t vote for Obama or sexist because you don’t vote for Hillary” crap and just elect Michelle instead. Now.
You have a new Democratic wife crush!

— Ben Feb 18, 04:57 pm #Actually I prefer Hillary more than Obama.
